My new music video goes live this week

Hello, everyone!

Spring is officially here!  The birds are tweeting, the sun is (sort of) shining, and here are two big reasons why I'm in a really good mood...!

1) - CONTOURS - MY NEW SINGLE!

My new single Contours is out now!  Have you heard it yet?  You can stream it on my website - http://fransmith.com - and download it from any of these stores:

iTunes - http://hyperurl.co/Contours-iTunes
Amazon - http://hyperurl.co/Contours-Amazon
Google Play - http://hyperurl.co/Contours-GooglePlay
7digital - http://hyperurl.co/Contours-7digital

The response to Contours has been amazing - thank you for all the shares and retweets and messages telling me how much you're loving the song!  In the past couple of weeks,Contours has been championed by BBC Introducing and played on national and localBBC Radio.  The single got a lovely write-up on The Revue, and one of my favourite journalists - The Guardian's Simon Hattenstone - said this about it:

"Romantic, sensual and angry - often at the same time - Contours combines the melancholy of late 70s Fleetwood Mac with the caustic know-how of the Arctic Monkeys.  Beautiful."

If you love Contours then please remember to share the link with your friends and tweet it to your followers to they can hear it, too!

2) - MUSIC VIDEO OUT THIS WEEK!

I'm thrilled to tell you that the music video for Contours goes live this Wednesday!

I've always wanted to make a video, and this has been one of the most fun projects I've ever been a part of - an awesome bunch of independent artists coming together and combining our talents and passions to create something really special.

The video features Sandrine Monin and Sam Vaherlehto - two incredible dancers and choreographers from the world-famous Phoenix Dance Theatre, based in Leeds.  Ever since I first wrote Contours, I've had it in mind to work with dancers - I wanted their amazingly sculpted bodies to echo the curves and undulations of the landscape.  Sam and Sandrine loved this concept straight away, and their resulting choreography is every bit as moving, sexy and beautiful as I hoped it would be!

Looking forward to sharing more about the video with you over the next few days...
